Common questions
I changed phone — is my purchase lost?
No. Open the settings, tap "Toute l'étagère" / "The whole shelf", then "Already bought? Restore" at the bottom of the screen. You need to be signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with.
Yomi waters too often, or not often enough
That is what it learns. Every time you water, touch the soil and say what you find: dry, still damp, soaked. "Still damp" lengthens that plant's rhythm; "dry" when it thought there was water left shortens it. After three waterings it knows your plant, in your room, better than any generic care sheet.
I did not get the morning note
Three things to check, in this order: that Yomi is allowed to send notifications (iPhone Settings → Yomi → Notifications); that the hour chosen in Yomi's settings has not already passed; and that a plant was actually thirsty that day — on days when everything is fine, Yomi says nothing, on purpose.
My shelf shows no weather
The sky follows the weather where you are if you allow location. If you would rather not give it, type a city name in the settings — it works just as well.
The camera button does nothing, or says "no more photos today"
Photo recognition is part of "The whole shelf". It also has a number of photos per day per device, so the service holds up for everyone: come back tomorrow, or pick the species from the list, or describe the symptom — Yomi looks for the cause just as well without a photo.
My species is not in the list
The catalogue holds about sixty houseplants, chosen to be the ones people actually have at home. If yours is missing, write us its name: that is how the list grows. In the meantime, pick the closest one — water needs are often similar within a family.
How do I erase my data?
"Empty the shelf", in the settings, removes every plant and its history. Deleting the app erases the rest. Nothing is kept on our side: see the privacy page.
Reporting a problem
Tell us the iPhone model, the iOS version, the Yomi version (it is written at the bottom of the settings) and what you were doing just before. A screenshot is often worth ten lines.
